What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a distinction granted to any institution meeting or exceeding the stated criteria of educational quality. The purposes of accreditation include:

Everest College, Tysons Corner and Arlington campuses, are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas and Associate’s degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Accreditation is granted following an extended evaluation covering all aspects of the school's educational process. These include admissions, faculty, programs, facilities, student services, and business practices.
Certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
Training services provided for the State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, members of Virginia Career College Association, Career College Association, McLean Chamber of Commerce, and National Certified Proctor Site for National Center for Competency Testing.
Approved for the training of veterans.
