What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a distinction granted to any institution meeting or exceeding the stated criteria of educational quality. The purposes of accreditation include:
ACCREDITATION
Accreditation assures students (l) that the College is recognized as a qualified institution of higher learning with approved programs of study that meet recognized academic standards; (2) that it employs a professional staff; (3) that it has adequate facilities and equipment; and
(4) that it has stability and permanence in the educational community.
