SeattleAt Everest College in Seattle, massage therapy is a serious business. The career college offers not one, but two massage therapy programs to prepare students for careers in this field.

For students interested in generalized training, Everest’s Massage Therapy program provides hands-on education in the basics of Swedish massage as well as a background in anatomy and physiology, Eastern theory and massage law and ethics.

Its Massage Therapy Spa Specialist program includes the generalized education offered in the standard program, but also includes eight Spa Therapy training courses for students who intend to seek jobs in hotels and resorts, on cruise ships or in similar facilities either in the United States or internationally.

Both programs are taught by massage industry professionals and include many hours of hands-on instruction and practice. Both programs can be completed in as little as one year. Upon graduation, Everest students can get support from the school’s Career Services division, which helps graduates prepare winning resumes, identify local employment opportunities and prepare for their critical job interviews.
