The staff at the Everest College's Atlanta West campus believes that students can gain a competitive edge in life while helping to revitalize the community through industry-specific education. Learning can be fun. And when offered with an engaging hands-on environment, it makes the whole education process easier and more beneficial for students.
Located in the southwest region of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, we strive to deliver an education that employers will value, and we also work closely with students to ensure their skills are ready for the working world from the day they decide to launch a career. Soft skills, such as a warm and energetic personality, are just as important and valuable as the education gained from completing a program of choice. When there is competition for a job opening, employers will occasionally hire based on an individual's soft skills.
Regional Interests
The city of Atlanta bristles with life, and the city's ambiance is well known throughout the world for its professional sports franchises, which include the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. The Georgia Dome, located in downtown Atlanta, is home stadium for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons. Annual events held at the Georgia Dome include the SEC Football Championship, the Atlanta Football Classic, and Honda's Battle of the Bands.
From the traditional soul food to delicious seafood menus, Atlanta offers varied and distinctive cuisine for which the city is famous. From rooftop restaurants to skyline views, the sheer number of eateries in Atlanta makes it virtually impossible to run out of restaurants to experience.
The Georgia International Convention Center is one of the city's most technologically advanced and user-friendly venues for business meetings, trade shows and exciting events.
For those that enjoy shopping, value and quality selection, the Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta is located southwest of downtown along Interstate 285 and Georgia Route 166. The Greenbriar Mall features a mix of nationally known retailers such as Foot Locker, Burlington Coat Factory and Macy's.
Tutoring
Campus instructors and members of the student ambassador program are there to assist students who need a helping hand in their studies. The program allows students who know the ropes to transfer their knowledge to peers.

- Bus - MARTA or Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority bus routes have stops near the Atlanta West campus at location 83 Campbellton/Greenbriar.
- Rail - The nearest MARTA Rail stop is at Lakewood / Fort McPherson stop with connecting bus routes.
- Highways and Byways - In Fulton County, the major highways serving the Atlanta West campus include the Metro Atlanta Bypass or I-285, and the Georgia State Route 166 also known as the Lakewood Freeway.
