Campus Overview

Everest can prepare you for a better life. If you live or work in the Colorado Springs metro area, Everest’s Colorado Springs campus can get you ready to enjoy a rewarding career in any of several popular fields.

If you think traditional colleges take too long and community colleges are too crowded and impersonal, Everest's Colorado Springs campus is designed for you. Many of our diploma programs can be completed in less than a year. You can also select from longer associate degree programs. Whatever program you choose, you have the Everest team working alongside you to ensure you get the help you need. If you need extra support in school or job-hunting after graduation, you have team members here to help you every step of the way. Our mission is to see you succeed.

The Facility

Everest College's Colorado Springs campus is located at 1815 Jet Wing Drive just west of the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport. The campus includes:

  • Large classrooms, including laboratory space
  • Small classes so you get personal attention
  • A student resource center where you'll find reading materials related to your academic programs as well as computers with full Internet access
  • Faculty and administrative offices

Campus Activities

Everest College's Colorado Springs campus offers a variety of activities and events to give you a great student experience. These include our:

  • Student Ambassador Program – Igniter ambassadors are fellow students who make sure you always have a friend on campus. Don't hesitate to approach an ambassador when you have a question about school facilities, tutoring, study tips or any other concerns.
  • Inspire Workshops – Our Career Services department holds regular Inspire sessions to help students prepare for their future careers.
  • CARE Program – If you need support with anything from finding child care or transportation to planning a family budget, our CARE Program is here to give you to help you need.
  • GED Tutoring and Testing – Everest cooperates with Aspen Pointe Services to provide GED tutoring or testing as needed.

Community Involvement

At Everest, a great education means more than just learning a marketable skill. By helping others, you'll help yourself by learning responsibility, empathy and interpersonal skills that can last a lifetime. You’ll have opportunities to grow through involvement and support of important community groups and events such as:

Campus Resources

At Everest College's Colorado Springs campus, we have made every effort to provide you with the tools and resources you need to stay focused on reaching your educational goals. On-site resources include:

  • A campus library open:
    • Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Study groups for students to join to review classroom materials, prepare for tests and help students improve study habits.
  • Tutoring available from instructors and Student Services by appointment.

Off-Site Resources

  • A variety of restaurants within a mile of the campus.
  • The campus can make a recommendation for child care services, as needed.

Safety & Security Are a Priority

At Everest, we’re committed to creating a safe learning environment free from preventable harm from physical assault, threatening behavior, theft, or other security-related issues. Our campuses have multiple safety precautions in place including a professional security staff and physical security measures such as cameras, alarms, and secured access where appropriate. Additionally, we maintain and regularly test emergency response plans that will help us to effectively manage any type of on-campus emergency.

Transportation and Parking

  • Everest College's Colorado Springs campus provides ample on-site parking at no cost with the entrance located within 20 feet from the parking area.
  • The campus is located about 2.5 miles from I-25 with major route access by way of Powers Blvd., Fountain Ave. and Academy Blvd.
