Patient Care Technician Program
The Patient Care Technician program will prepare you to provide direct care to individuals in a variety of healthcare environments. You will gain technical expertise to provide effective clinical assistance to patients.
You will work alongside doctors and other healthcare professionals to oversee and monitor patients. Your education will combine basic medical knowledge and hands-on skills gathered in the classroom and laboratory.
Patient Care Technician Class Training

You will receive instruction in anatomy and physiology, understanding body functions and related illnesses. You will also have a thorough understanding of medical terminology to aid in the collection and documentation of patient data.
Patient Care Career Opportunities
You will have the skills necessary to gain employment in a number of capacities. Job opportunities will be prevalent in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities.
Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible to be certified in basic life support from the National Safety Council. You will also be eligible to take exams to become certified as Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technicians, and Phlebotomy Technicians.
