Are you thinking of preparing yourself for a career in the health care or building trades industries? If you live in the southwest Houston metropolitan area, Everest Institute's Houston Bissonnet campus may be the place for you.

Everest Institute's Houston Bissonnet campus offers a variety of career education programs that can train you for health care or building trade careers. These programs, taught by industry professionals, are designed to have you out of school and ready for work in less than a year. Small classes and a "hands-on" approach to education can help you learn faster and retain more of what you learn. And you’ll have a team supporting you throughout your program and beyond. After you graduate, our dedicated Career Services staff can help you transition from school to the workplace by offering ongoing job assistance support.

The Facility

The Bissonnet campus is located in the Westwood Technology Center on Bissonnet Street, just west of U.S. Highway 59. The campus has 60,000 square feet containing classrooms, lecture and lab facilities, administrative offices, student lounge and a library. Several classrooms are designed and equipped for laboratory instruction.

Campus Activities

Everest Institute's Houston Bissonnet campus offers a variety of activities and events to give you a positive student experience. These include our:

  • Igniter Ambassador Program – If you have questions, need help or just want to make new friends, ask an Igniter ambassador. Ambassadors are fellow students who volunteer to give you support when you need it.
  • In-House Program Clinics – Prepare yourself for the working world with hands-on workshops in the skills you need to get a job – and get ahead!
  • CARE Program – Looking for help with child care, transportation or personal budget management? Our CARE program can provide welcome support in times of need.

  • Campus Resource Center that has available computers and is open from 9 a.m. until close

Safety & Security Are a Priority

At Everest, we’re committed to creating a safe learning environment free from preventable harm from physical assault, threatening behavior, theft, or other security-related issues. Our campuses have multiple safety precautions in place including a professional security staff and physical security measures such as cameras, alarms, and secured access where appropriate. Additionally, we maintain and regularly test emergency response plans that will help us to effectively manage any type of on-campus emergency.
