Everest University South Orlando

Welcome to Everest University's Orlando campus, serving Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties. This vibrant, active campus offers you an exciting alternative to traditional universities and community colleges. Here you can get the knowledge, skills and experience local employers demand in a variety of popular career fields. Everest offers a highly focused curriculum designed to make you a desirable job candidate who can bring value to companies throughout Central Florida. And you will receive support from a team dedicated to your success both inside the classroom and out.

The Facility

Everest University in Orlando is located at 9200 Southpark Center Loop near Seaworld. Opened in 1987 as the former Orlando College, Everest University Orlando is one of Everest's largest campuses. It contains 60,000 square feet on just one floor and is approximately a quarter-mile long from one end to the other.

Campus Activities

Everest University's Orlando campus offers a variety of activities and events to give you the complete student experience. These include our:

  • Igniter Ambassador Program – It’s always good to have a friend watching your back. Igniter ambassadors are fellow students chosen for their maturity, experience and leadership skills who make themselves available whenever you need help.
  • In-House Program Clinics – Learn strategies and techniques for landing your first job. Practice your interviewing skills and make sure your first impression is a great impression.
  • CARE Program – If you need support with anything from finding child care and transportation to managing a family budget, our CARE Program is here to give you to help you need.

Community Involvement

The Orlando campus students and faculty regularly participate in a number of community events. These include:

  • National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
  • Baby DJ
  • Holiday food drives for students and those in need in the community
  • Orange County Education Foundation's Golf Tournament
  • Orange County Education Foundation's Read to Succeed
  • When available, participation in the Florida Workforce Development program for those trying to re-establish themselves in a new career

In addition, the Orlando campus’s health care students participate in a variety of efforts within the community:

  • Medical Assistant students work with local physicians to perform physicals
  • Massage Therapy students provide massages at events such as Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • Employees participate in the annual OUC Half Marathon and 5K, and the Elf Classic Running Festival events each year

  • Library hours from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Library computers available for students
  • Tutors available, as needed, to help you with general education efforts, specific classes or programs, review for special certifications and licensing, or even for college algebra
  • Study groups available, as needed

Security and Safety

We're committed to making sure our campus is safe and that you find the support you need every step of the way. We offer the following campus security benefits:

  • Campus security guards from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays
  • Security-patrolled parking lot
  • Adequate campus lighting

Transportation and Parking

Campus parking relieves the stress of having to look for a parking spot. Close access to several major highways is also a big plus for our students. Everest students can enjoy the following:
