The Facility

Everest Institute in Southfield is located at 21107 Lahser Road just north of West 8 Mile Road. The campus can be reached easily by either Telegraph Road (Hwy. 24) to the west or Southfield Freeway (Route 15) to the east.

Everest Institute’s Southfield campus offers a variety of activities and events to give you the complete student experience. These include our:

  • Igniter Ambassador Program - Igniter ambassadors are student leaders who volunteer their time to help fellow students. Whether it’s as simple as finding a classroom or as challenging as helping you prepare for a big test, an Igniter ambassador can help you deal with the demands of school – and life.
  • Inspire Workshops - These events are staffed with professionals who can help you better understand how your new knowledge and skills can be put to use in the working world.
  • CARE Program - We understand that life’s challenges can sometimes impact your college experience. Everest’s CARE program can help provide you with solutions to transportation, child care and other personal challenges so you have more time and energy to focus on your education.

Community Involvement

Campus Resources

At Everest, our goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment for students. We know that personal and academic support can go a long way in helping our students realize their dream of completing a career college education.

  • Recommendations for child care services near the campus
  • Bus pass service based on student need
  • Job training, unemployment, health care and housing referrals
  • Campus library hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Library computers available to all students
  • Bookstore and supplies with hours Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Available tutoring services
  • Student lounge with vending machines
  • Off-site eateries near the campus, which include KFC located at 22254 West Eight Mile Road

Safety & Security Are a Priority

At Everest, we’re committed to creating a safe learning environment free from preventable harm from physical assault, threatening behavior, theft, or other security-related issues. Our campuses have multiple safety precautions in place including a professional security staff and physical security measures such as cameras, alarms, and secured access where appropriate. Additionally, we maintain and regularly test emergency response plans that will help us to effectively manage any type of on-campus emergency.

Transportation and Parking

Everest offers convenient on-site parking close to the school's entrance. Students also have access to local bus stops if taking public transportation to and from school.
