Surgical Technologist Careers
As a graduate of Everest's Surgical Technologist program, you can have the skills necessary to be a valued asset to any surgical team. Your knowledge, skills and experience will qualify you to compete for entry-level positions wherever surgical procedures are performed.* Places you might find work include:
- Out-patient surgery centers
- Physicians' offices
- Dentist offices
As of 2012, about 100,000 surgical techs were employed nationwide, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Between 2012 and 2012, that number is expected to rise by more than 39,000. That 39 percent increase is much higher than the rise for employment overall.*
